We took part in our first event of the North Coast Gig League at Appledore hosted by Boscastle. It was an early start to a beautiful but cold Autumn‘s day. It was our first taste of sprint racing over a straight course from the ship works to the Seagate. All crews did extremely well and had a very fun day. Finishing up in the Seagate with South Africa winning to the relief of our chairman Ben to reach the semi-final of the Rugby World Cup.
